Press Release: PTS Receives a Shell Oil Products U.S. Contractor Safety Recognition Award

PTS is proud to announce that it is one of the recipients of the Shell Los Angeles Refinery’s’ first Shell Oil Products U.S. Contractor Safety Recognition Award for 2003.

Contractor safety performance at the Los Angeles Refinery in 2003 was world class and resulted in Shell’s LAR being awarded the Shell CEO Safety Leadership Award for the third year in a row. “Many companies put an extra effort into contributing to our performance in 2003. Other companies made an exceptional effort to go that extra mile and for them we are kicking off special recognition under a new SOPUS program,” says Linda Arias, Shell’s LAR Safety Coordinator.

PTS’s participation on Shell’s safety committees and our level of involvement in safety processes have been key to the step change improvement that Shell’s LAR has experienced over the last 5 years. “PTS is proud to be one of many companies that represent the "best of the best" by putting an extra effort into contributing to the performance at LAR in 2003,” says June Stein, PTS President.
