Extensive
work experience in the following facilities: refineries,
chemical plants, petrochemical, manufacturing, nuclear
power plant, oil & gas pipelines, pump stations and
offshore oil/gas platforms. Responsibilities have included
management, engineering, supervision of senior designers
and designers.

| ACHIEVEMENTS: |
Developed
multivariable control strategies for process control. Developed
the plans for the revamp of the existing control room and
designed the new state-of-the-art control room to meet
the new requirements. Engineered the new standard of the
DCS Field Enclosure for the present and future DCS implementations
in the refinery.
Performed
sizing, selection and specification of safety relief
valves, transmitters and analytical instrumentation.
Also developed the control strategies and control narratives
for the process heaters and executed the logic diagrams
for the heaters start-up sequences and shutdown systems.
Instrument
and control experience includes Honeywell and Moore DCS
network configuration, CL and UNIX programming, control
loop and P&ID development, and preparing specifications
from PFDs and P&IDs for field and control room instruments
for pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, and refinery
plants.
Field
experience includes executing, testing and validating
PLC, SCADA and DCS protocols, writing IQ, OQ and PQ protocol
validation procedures, developing as built drawings,
P&ID walkdown, factory checkout, loop checking and
commissioning on retrofit or revamp and grassroots projects.
Experience
includes development of loop diagrams, logic diagrams,
installation details, ladder logic, control panel design,
P&ID development, instrument specifications, bid
analysis, start up manuals, computer interface of off-line
and on line computer applications to process preparation
of bids for new jobs, manpower and project cost projection
control.
Supervisor
for a refinery expansion project, including new sulfur
recovery units, tail gas-treating unit and delayed coker
unit crude units, vacuum unit tank farms. Responsibilities
include scheduling, budget control, preparation of proposals
and trends, technical review. Designed stack monitoring
system and two analyzer shelters. Performs quality assurance
check on P&ID's, specifications, logic and loop diagrams,
and control panels.
